Marybeth Tregarthen, a beloved community member and devoted sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on October 31, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 59 years old. Marybeth grew up in Bay Shore, New York, and later made her home in Brightwaters. She was a fixture in the Bay Shore community, staying active and involved throughout her life. She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Peggy and Harry Tregarthen.
Marybeth is survived by her cherished brother, William Tregarthen, his wife Erin, and their son Jack, who all adored her deeply. Known for her generous spirit, humor, and boundless love for family, friends, and the beach, Marybeth will be dearly missed by those who had the honor of knowing her.
