As one of Peter’s instructors, I can say he was always such a bright light in the classroom. Inquisitive, intuitive, and always willing to help his other classmates, he was the kind of student you felt privileged to teach. He left his mark on everyone in his class, including all who taught him. I’m incredibly grateful for our time together.

I got to know Peter while attending CodeSmith. He was a wealth of knowledge and I consider him a friend. He was always willing to help me when I was lost and reminded me not to be to hard on myself. I will truly miss him. Thank you Peter till we meet again.

Cousins are our first best friends, and that’s what peter was to me. Even though we lost touch over the years we were never far from home. I will forever miss my little cousin, my friend, and the man he grew to be. I wish i got to tell him how proud i was of his accomplishments, but i’m sure he knew we all were.
Forever missed, and forever loved. Rest in peace buddy.

Peter, although life may have gotten in the way of being consistently in touch the past couple of years, I will always treasure you as my oldest friend. There are simply too many memories to recollect in one post. I will never forget all the shenanigans we got up to together - biking around East Islip (and beyond), “Deep Great River,” Free Candy Day, countless hours of rollerblading around our respective neighborhoods on the phone and so much more. Even from opposite ends of the East Coast, we spent every second of the scattered times we were together laughing so hard we cried. It’s because of you that a lot of us are friends as well - you always had a knack for bringing people together. I am so grateful to have so many joyous memories and I will carry them with me always. Love you so much, Peter. There is simply no word for how lucky we all are to have been your friend.

My son Vincent & Peter are good friends from school, Peter always had a smile, so polite, funny and just a wonderful young man. I have attached a very fond memory of the boys & I after completing the Warrior Dash mud run. They were so proud of themselves, rightly earned! My thoughts and prayers are with you, with love, Laura Cross (Sheppard)

As classmates, as roommates, in games, and as friends: I feel like we never had enough time together, but I'm thankful for the time we did have. I feel lucky to have known you, and I'm sorry you couldn't be around for longer.

I haven't laid eyes on you in years and yet Cassidy's updates on how you were doing never stopped. Your warmth and sense of humor will be sorely missed.
My most sincere condolences to Kennix, your family at home and the close knit group of friends, with whom you created an additional family.

Peter, it is incredible how someone I didn’t know all too long and met via instagram has made such an impact on my life. Any time I would walk into an event and see you and Kennix, I would light up with excitement to get to spend the evening hanging out with you two. Spending time getting all the best angles with the best lighting to photograph food was something so simple that I will forever hold dear. I am blessed to have called you a friend not just from instagram, but also in real life.

Peter, thank you so, so much for being my absolute best friend for the past 17 years. There are simply too many memories for me to be able to write down - from meeting in 6th grade math class, to me LIVING with you, to moving across the country and still keeping in touch seemingly every week, we've been through it all. You were my person, Peter; I know that I could go to you for anything and everything. It's hard to put into words the sheer impact you've had on everybody you know - East Islip, Pittsburgh, Texas.. the love for you knows no bounds. I wish I had been able to see you sooner, bud.. we were both counting the days until you got to visit again.
I love you, Peter. I miss you so damn much already.
