Glass, Marie Louise (maiden Phillips) of Bay Shore passed away peacefully on August 7, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Brooklyn in 1947 to Logan and Marie Louise Phillips. Her maternal grandparents, Dr. Herbert Fett and Mrs. Daisy Fett, began calling their newborn granddaughter “Pussycat” and soon thereafter “Marie Louise” became “Puss” to her entire family and childhood friends for the rest of her days. Beloved wife of Steven for over 50 years. Cherished mother of Peter (Laura) and Catherine Casey Stewart (Michael). Adoring grandmother (“Nana”) of Logan, Ali and Connor Glass and Caitlin, Josie and Dylan Stewart. Treasured big sister to Margaret Ann “Meg” LaBarre (Bert), Sally Ann Hennelly (Mickey), Jeanne Faas (the late John Faas), Logan “Jay” Phillips (Kim), Juliana Wojcik (Peter) and Sandra Reilly (Barney). Puss was also a loving aunt and cousin to all those in this large family. She was an extremely caring, giving and selfless person for all who entered her life, and she had many wonderful friendships. Puss will be forever loved and terribly missed by all that knew her. Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 12, 2021 between 3:00 and 7:00 PM at Fredrick J.
