Obituary of Frederick W. Kottmann

Frederick W. Kottmann, Jr., a retired teacher, passed away September 15, 2018.  Fred was a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy.  Thereafter, he taught Social Studies in the Half Hollow Hills School District for 31 years.  He is predeceased by his mother Ellen and father Frederick, Sr. Fred is survived by his sister, Carol Ann McGinn of Massapequa Park, her husband James, his nephews James Jr. and Sean, his niece Caitlin McGinn Caramanico of Bethpage, her husband Anthony, and their child Joseph Ryan.  Funeral services will be Friday 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 PM at Chapey & Sons Funeral Home, 20 Hicksville Road, Bethpage, N.Y.  A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:45 AM at St. Martin of Tours Church, 220 Central Avenue, Bethpage, N.Y. Fred will be interred at Pinelawn Memorial Park.  Your kind and gentle heart will be with us always.  We love you, Fred.
