To: Keith & The Entire Caramanica Family, This evening I received the sad news from Frank V. regarding the passing of your beloved Father Joseph Caramanica, Jr.. On behalf of my wife Josephine and I, please accept our sincere condolence to you and your family. Unfortunately I never had the pleasure to have met your dad, but from what I have read and was told, he must have been a very exceptional man. The fact he was a highly decorated veteran of the the NYPD and also served his country in time of war, in my book automatically qualifies him a hero in my eyes. We pray God has already welcomed your father into the "Kingdom of Heaven," where he will join your mother (Margaret) and he will be granted eternal peace and happiness.
