My heartfelt condolences to Camille, Wayne, and family. I waited on your father at the Carousel Diner for 12 years. It was your father who gave me the final push I needed to go to college and obtained my degree. At the time I was hesitant to go to college as I was 35 years old and would not have my degree until age 41. I suspected that starting a career at age 41 was ill advised. Your Dad said to me “how old will you be in six years if you don’t go to college?”. Well, the rest is history. Your father’s memory will remain with me for life. He will be missed.
