I worked with John at Nielsen. Earlier this summer, John and his family honored us by having us for lunch. We were there to see John and here he and his family were hosting us. I have known John since 1990; our career paths crossing several times with several gaps in between. Our greatest conversations were about our children and their accomplishments; we both have only sons and they are close in age. His love of his family was always evident in these conversations. John was the best, a good man, and a good friend, He will be missed but his example and legacy will be with us for a long time. Kevin Crinnion

I worked with John at Nielsen for six years during which time he became my good friend and mentor. I was there when he shared the news of his cancer and we did everything we could to support him in his fight; through our wishes, prayers, and camaraderie. His intellect and desire to share his knowledge and educate others made him stand out as refreshing and truly unique. He was highly valued by all of his co-workers, and I feel privileged for the time I was able to spend with him. My deepest condolences go out to his family for the loss of this very exceptional and caring person.
