Obituary of Carlo Radosti

Carlo Radosti, 92, of Bay Shore, New York, died peacefully in his sleep at Apex Nursing Home, in Huntington Station, NY, on August 15, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Maria; his brothers Tony, and Joe; and his sisters Rose Gulotta, and Ann Redington. He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Connie, and his two sons John , and Joe. 
He lived an adventurous life serving in the Merchant Marines during World War II. During that time, one of the ships he served on was torpedoed, but he and his shipmates were rescued by the Russians. 
Radosti traveled the world as a merchant sailor working on oil tankers, and cargo ships. He most enjoyed spending time with family and friends, having fun, and making people laugh. He was loved by his family and friends, and will be greatly missed.
