Obituary of Gennaro "Jerry" Davide

Gennaro (Jerry) Davide, beloved husband of Marie over 51 years.  Devoted father of Gerard (Wendy), Christina Mayott (Danny), Pamela Perkins (John), Thomas (Keyla) and Robert (Liz).  Cherished grandfather of John, Samantha, Zoe, Danny, Max, Isabella, Gabriela, and Rafael Gennaro, and step grandaughter, Chloe.  Special papa to great grandaughter, Madison Rose who will soon have a sibling.GE retiree, United States Navy veteran, disabled in the Korean War.  Long time member of Teams of Our Lady and St. Patrick's Hospitality Center volunteer.  Former two time Cubmaster of Cub Scout Pack 153 and boys and girls soccer coach in the ealy years of the Bay Shore/Brightwaters soccer club. The family is very grateful for the staff of the Long Island State Veterans' Home in Stony Brook where he lived a vibrant life for 11 months with dignity, respect and peace. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Good Shepherd Hospice In Patient Services 110 Bi-County Blvd., Suite 114, Farmigdale, NY 11735 or St. Patrick Hospitality Center 9 No. Clinton Ave., Bay Shore, NY 11706.
