Obituary of William C. Boehm, Jr.

William C. Boehm, Jr, 89, of North Massapequa, New York, passed away surrounded by his family, on Friday, June 2nd, 2017 after a long and full life.

Bill was a loving husband to his wife, Doris, of 60 years who, sadly preceded him in death in 2013.

Bill was a dedicated father to his 6 children, (Bill, Steve, Sue, Chip, Rose and Rick) and a loving grandfather to his 7 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

After a stint in the US Navy, he earned his Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering then went on to a successful career, retiring from Unisys Inc, in Islip, NY, in 1983.

He enjoyed his retirement by traveling and visiting family, and engaging in his passion for photography.

He was a Lector and Eucharistic Minister for many years at St. James Roman Catholic Church in Seaford, NY where he attended daily Mass.

He will be greatly missed by all.
