We were in Florida when we heard of Bill's passing. So sad. Wonderful man and neighbor. When we moved across the street in 1991, he was recently retired. He made a point of offering his services to anything we needed. A staple in the neighborhood, he was often seen outside talking with neighbors and smiling and waving as cars passed down our street. God bless the McGinley family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Tom and Rosemarie Hurd

When I learned of your Dad’s passing through my cousin Patrick, I had to write and convey my deepest condolences to you all. My Nana and Pop-Pop really loved your family and I am very grateful that they had such caring neighbors. I remember fondly summers playing wiffle ball in your front yard and swimming in your pool. And your Dad’s tomato garden, and how he would leave home grown tomatoes for them on their porch, or how he would help them bring up their garbage pails to the house. Your Dad was such a good man and such a good role model to all of us kids growing up, I am so sorry for your loss. Tonight I will light a candle and say a prayer. It brings tears to my eyes, thinking of how Nana and Pop - Pop must have been ready with a big hug and a warm handshake, for their friend Bill as they welcomed him home to heaven.
