Obituary of John "Jake" Kennedy

KENNEDY - John "Jake", of East Islip, LI on April 2, 2017. Beloved husband of Charlene Kennedy. Devoted father of Matthew Kennedy, Christine Kennedy and father-in-law of Mike Ciferri. Cherished son of Jane and the late William Kennedy. Dearest brother of Billy, Maureen, Walter, Kevin, Kathie, Joe, Jane and Elizabeth and their loving spouses. Jake will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, his extended family and his pups. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons East Islip Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's R.C. Church, East Islip, LI on Thursday at 10:00 AM. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be to the North Shore Animal League, Port Washington, NY.
