Hey Mom this is going to be really difficult, I know how much you wanted to be w/dad and that’s the only consulation I have right now, they say you’re in a better place, but I was looking forward to sharing The Mets game with you that evening, when I sat there with you, telling you your 99th is in 16 days & we’re gonna have a cake, & you shook your head no, I understood as much as it crushed me,I never wanted to leave you that night I kept standing there walking back & forth, saying I love you, & I knew I’d never be going back there again, it broke my heart, I think as soon as I finally walked out, I had a horrible feeling that went right thru me,I knew the lights already were dimming in your soul, it was devastating. Thank you for your huge heart, the kindness & love you had with so many, your love & amazing concern for animals, children, & things that mattered. I will miss you more than you could ever know. Until we meet again mom I love you to the moon & back.
