Lauren Elizabeth Andruzzi of Bethpage, NY, 20 years old, passed away suddenly on Friday September 27, 2024. Lauren was born on June 15, 2004 to proud parents Joseph C. Andruzzi and Christine Eileen (Nee) Kretzmer at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bethpage, NY. She was the youngest of 3 children. Lauren attended Sacred Heart Academy in Hempstead, NY and was a devout Catholic. Upon graduation, she attended Arizona State University, in Tempe Arizona, majoring in Business Law and was matriculating in her Junior year when she passed. Lauren was planning for a career in the legal profession. Lauren lit up the room wherever she was and was a prankster provocateur par none. She loved the Lord, her family and friends unconditionally. Dear siblings Joseph C. Andruzzi, Jr., sister Alexa Herlihy and cherished nieces Emma and Paige were the center of her world every day. Lauren was a beloved Big Sister of the Arizona State University Sorority Alpha Delta Pi (ADPi) and was a competition soloist and group production dancer in Tap, Ballet and Contemporary from age 5 through high school graduation in her cherished dance family at Modern Rhythms Dance Academy in Bethpage, N.Y.

.

Lauren is survived by her beloved parents, her loving sister Alexa and brother Joseph, nieces Emma & Paige, her brother and sister Michael SanFillipo and Karin Lemon, Uncle David and Aunt Sandi, her cherished grandmother Arlene Kretzmer and many Cousins. Lauren is survived by heartbroken devoted Aunts and Uncles Debbie and Vic Doyle, Sharon and Ron Goodwin, Tricia and Guy Gorham who doted on her and were present in Lauren’s joyous University life every day. Lauren was recently pre-deceased by her inspiring Abuela Denise Geres of South River, N.J. and by her aunt “Col” of Little Egg Harbour, N.J. who passed in October, 2022 but who remained ever with her, guiding Lauren in her world every day. Family & Friends are invited to Chapey & Sons Funeral Home 20 Hicksville Road Bethpage, NY 11714 on Friday October 4, from 3:00PM to 5:00PM and 7:00PM to 9:30PM for Visitation.
