Rose Wood, age 80, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024 surrounded by her family. She is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Edward, and her cherished children Rosanne and son-in-law Mark and Robert. Rose was a proud and devoted grandmother to TJ and Danny. She was a loving sister to Lynn and Donna. She also had many wonderful nieces and nephews and was a great friend to many. Rose enjoyed spending time with her family above all things. She enjoyed reading and watching her beloved New York Mets. She enjoyed doing word searches and loved Tweety Bird. Family trips to Disney World were highlights in her life as well as spoiling her grandchildren. Rose’s family and friends will deeply miss her warm smile and heartfelt embraces. She was always so full of love and laughs and was truly one of a kind. In Lieu of Flowers, the family asks that you donate to St. Judes in her honor.
