We couldn’t have asked for a better dad. He was one in a
Million. He was devoted to his family and loved life. He always had a positive attitude even the last few days when I would ask him how he was feeling he always would say great with a smile. He was one of the hardest working men I ever known. He was an upholsterer by trade and worked over 40 years at Engelhard & Koenig and as he would say he never took a sick day. He was also a proud Navy World War II Veteran and served on the USS Baltimore CA 68. If you knew my dad you would know a story or two and if you ever met my dad he would of showed you a picture of his body building days. He had 4 children, 10 grandchildren, three great grandchil dren and one on the way. he had a way of making each one feel special. He lived a long healthy life, enjoyed traveling, spending time with family, he loved watching American idol, playing lotto, tap dancing and hanging out with friends from sunny lane where he lived for the last 27 years with my mom. My parents were married for 69 years this past July. He adored my mom Grace who he put on a pedestal. You taught us to have a positive attitude and never get excited. you will forever be in our hearts. Dad we love you and will miss you.

The world lost one of the greatest men I know Grandpa you are an absolute legend to say the least. 100 years doesn't feel like enough but I'm thankful for all the time I had with you. I will miss you chatting up every stranger we pass, begging me to put on americas got talent, and taking way over the allotted amount of time in the sauna while me and grandma waited patiently for you at the JCC pool. i know you're dancing to Susan Boyle and eating as many gram crackers as you want up there l will miss you so much.
