From the time I met Mr. Fred he was a sweet, gentle, soft spoken, kind man. I believe he left a great impact on everyone he came across including myself. I pray for God to give the family and all the wonderful people that were in his life peace and healing during this difficult time. A beautiful soul gone to soon, he was a blessing too many people. I dunno how to articulate Mr. Butts’ impact on my life in a single paragraph. You would have just had to have been there… The 1980s. The 1990s. The 2000s. From childhood to adulthood. He was a very great man. He was like my second dad. I will never forget him… And the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Freddie & Frederick Butts. Those are my guys. Those guys will always be with me in my heart. They’re the very best this world has to offer. I love those guys very deeply, and I salute Mr Butts. A life well lived. I know Fredrick is proud, and rightfully so.

I cannot express how deeply saddened I am for your loss. I have fond memories of my beloved uncle. He took me to my first MLB game and was always supportive. My sincere condolences. Rest in heaven Uncle Freddie.
