Theresa Capezza, age 77, of Babylon, New York passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024. Beloved wife of Nicholas Capezza; devoted mother of Salvatore (Kristine), Nicholas and Frank (Anna); dear sister of Paul Jr., James, Gloria, Michael, Susan and Richard. Theresa is cherished by her 4 grandchildren, Sofia, Nicholas, Adrianna and Alyssa. Theresa was born in Brooklyn, NY, where she spent her early years. She was one of 7 children born to Theresa and Paul Ferretti. But more than anything, Theresa was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was always there to offer guidance, support, and encouragement. Memorial visitation is on Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1225 Montauk Hwy, West Islip, New York. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 10, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church 455 Hunter Avenue, West Islip, New York. Theresa’s final resting place is at Long Island National Cemetery, Pinelawn Road, Pinelawn, New York.
