I met Debbie through my sister, Renee and am so lucky to have met such a beautiful, kind and thoughtful woman who I consider my friend, too. We were together at Renee's gatherings and birthday celebrations at restaurants and the yacht club. I will be forever thankful to Debbie for donating her blood for one of my surgeries. It was a selfless act that she offered to go specifically to donate for me and go through that process and hold my Renee's hand while Renee donated as well. Renee had never donated so she was nervous, and Debbie comforted Renee during the process. My daughters, Lisa and Jillian and I will miss her so much.
