Obituary
Gladys Mouton Di Stefano was born in Tanta Egypt. Gladys followed her passion for hospitality and moved to Paris in her early twenties. She attended the well-known hospitality school, L’Ecole Hoteliere de Paris. It was there she met a student, Jean-Pierre, and fell in love. They married and had Nathalie. They later divorced and Gladys had an opportunity to move to New York to work for Inhilco. She later went on to work for various hotels in the city and “Oh La La” became her trademark. In her late thirties, she met Giovanni Di Stefano and had Lisa. Gladys continued to develop her professional interests and refine her skills. She was recognized over the years for her hard work and dedication but none for her was as important as the dinner she would organize yearly for the under privileged the day before Thanksgiving. Gladys is pre-deceased by her husband Giovanni who passed last month. She is survived by her daughters Nathalie and Lisa and her cherished grandchildren, Alexandra, Amanda, Samantha, John Carlo and Gia. In Lieu of Flowers the family has requested that donations be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, PO Box 22324, New York, NY 10087

Gladys was such an extraordinary person and was so loved by the HSMAI Greater New York chapter community. Personally, I am grateful for the special relationship that we shared. She will be missed tremendously and we will never forget all her contributions and the grace and efficiency in which she performed her service to our chapter., Rest in God's loving hands with your Nino by your side.
Lovingly,
