Obituary
Linda was born on September 28th,1948 in Canarsie, Brooklyn to John and Mathilde Muhlbauer. She loved her time in Brooklyn and would love to tell stories of her early childhood. Her family moved to Valley Stream where she grew up until starting a business career in New York City. She moved into Manhattan and became a top sales associate in the outdoor advertising industry selling space on billboards all across the tri-state area and becoming an active member of the American Business Women’s Association.
She lived in Los Angeles, California for a short time until an earthquake scared her back to New York. Linda enjoyed traveling with friends and family all around the world. Linda cherished her German heritage and enjoyed preparing traditional German meals for her family; but definitely had a wee bit of Irish in her. You could hear it in her laughter and see the twinkle in her eyes. She loved music, The Beatles was her favorite, going to plays, concerts and spending time with her family and friends.
In retirement she would often play cards, travel and root for her favorite football team the NY Giants. There would also always be an invitation for a Friday night pizza party.
Linda is survived by her nephews George {wife Sue}, Jimmy {wife Dolly} and niece Carol. She leaves behind countless Great and Great-Great nieces and nephews all who she spoiled immensely. In addition, Linda had many special adopted family members who treated her with kindness and generosity and loved her as their own special Aunt.
Linda will be sorely missed by her wide array of family members, friends and colleagues. The ways she touched hearts cannot be erased. The smiles and the laughter she created will live on forever.
