Obituary

Susan Kane Kowalski of Jacksonville Florida, formerly of Bay Shore, NY unexpectedly passed away on October 25, 2023. Susan was born to George Kane and Mary Skalka on June 27, 1947 and has been married to her high school sweetheart James Kowalski for 54 years. Susan is survived by her beloved husband James and adored daughters and sons-in-law Georgeann & Peter Roy, Jamie & Michael Corio, and Lori & Bradley Smith. Cherished grandchildren Mary Corio, Michael Corio, Peter Roy Jr., Molly Roy, Reid Smith, and Colin Smith & precious great grandson Eric Coyne Treasured siblings George & Jayne Kane, Kevin & Carol Kane, Joseph & Connie Kane, and Mary-Claire & Donald Gill As well as many loved nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends Susan was a special soul. Although small in stature she had giant sized strength, tenacity, and unwavering Love. She will be terribly missed by all that knew her because…. Friends quickly became family at Susan’s home.
