Obituary
Patricia's passing is a profound loss for her children, Jackie, Jeffrey, Christopher, and Dennis, and her grandchildren, Justin, Amanda, Johnathon, Matthew, and Ryan. Nana's grandchildren and children meant everything to her. As the former postmaster of the Great River Post Office, she served her community diligently for many years. Patricia was a remarkable woman, known for her kindness, compassion, and her nurturing spirit. Her sense of humor, love for singing, and talent for entertaining brought joy to all who knew her. She had a way of making everyone feel like they were a part of her family, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all those whose lives she touched.

Pat will always be my other Mom. She was my boss for nearly 20 years and I enjoyed working with her everyday. We shared so many special things, especially stories of our family lives. She always had great advice and was there for me, in MY times of trouble, as a parent raising 3 kids. She allowed me to use my creative side in keeping our post office beautifully decorated and involved in all special events that we planned. She introduced me to a buttered roll, with cream cheese. You should try it, its delicious. We shared our love of liverwurst sandwiches and cream soda. And nobody makes onion soup they way she did. She would tell me crazy stories that would make me laugh uncontrollably. A special time for me was on my birthday one year. She told me to go out in the backyard of the post office to look at something. When I opened the door, there in the grass, was this little round table with a white floor length cloth on it, a birthday cake with these long stick candles all lit up. No one had every done anything that touching for me, Not ever... She was always about giving her all to everyone. She went through a lot in her life, losing her one true love to a terrible disease at a young age, raising her 4 children, mostly on her own and working many jobs to support them. I will always have a deep admiration for her and she will always have a special place in my heart. I love you Pat, and I will miss you :(
