My family and I send our thoughts, prayers, and condolences to the Cassio family. I had the privilege of knowing Tony through many softball gatherings. He was always so kind, friendly, and welcoming to me and my family. Joey and I would often times be playing the outfield together and Tony would have us turning and running to chase down so many balls that he hit over our heads. A great swing, a great smile, and a great man who will be dearly missed. It was an honor to know him, to share the field with him, and to call him a friend.

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Tony over 30 years ago when we both worked in NY. We became friends, had lunch everyday at noon sharing many laughs. Tony introduced me to his brother Michael and their group of friends. Tony was always the life of the party. I will remember him for his smile, caring soul and love for his family. He is loved by many and has left us with beautiful memories. My deepest and heartfelt condolences to Joni, the boys and the enrire Cassio Family. May Tony's strength and love carry you through each day. He will be truly missed...Teresa Fazio

I will miss Tony at our card nights, and him making all of us laugh constantly. Him drinking wine with us and just being a cool, chill and easy going guy. We were all hoping he get better, and join us again. He has always been a great friend to us and our family. He raised amazing children with his wonderful wife Joni. They are a solid family, and I am saddened by the loss of such a great man and what they are experiencing. He was as good as they come, in a world that can be pretty ugly at times. His laugh and positive outlook on things will be something I will miss.

Tony was a wonderful man to his family and friends. A loving husband and father to his wife Joni and his sons Anthony and Joey. Tony always had a beautiful smile to give and with his easy disposition and fun ways made him so wonderful to be around. Our fun dinners out together, vacations, and all our get togethers were always full of laughs that Tony always gave us. The nights of pictionary at their house with a spread fit for a king along with all the New Year’s celebrations at their house to bring in a fresh New Year. All those fun, belly laughs times together are etched in our brains. Tony always helped his friends out with all his electrical know how always there to lend a hand. John and the card crew have missed you at the weekly poker games and always prayed you would join them again so they could take your money lol and a night of just relaxing and wine drinking together again just to unwind from a day of work. We had the pleasure of knowing him for 30 years. It was not nearly enough time. We all still wanted more time together to make more memories but God had other plans. They say he takes the good ones and he surely did. He took one of the best . He was so young and suffered too long. Tony you will be forever loved and missed always. We will have get togethers ( never the same ) and you will be with us in spirit we know because the day you left us you got your wings. You will be the angel among us, Rest in Peace our dear friend till we all meet again and I know you will have the wonderful spread and wine ready for all of us. Please watch over your family. Can’t believe I am writing this and your gone. Love you our dear friend always.
