Bernice C. Suplee, of Bay Shore, NY, on September 11, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Young Suplee. Devoted mother of Nancy S. Ferreira and Patricia (Alan) Loeffler. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Jamie), Alison, Kathleen (Brian), Stacey (Ken); great-grandmother of Tessa, Kenny, Quinn, Myles, Hannah; and great-great-grandmother of Emily and Mason. Bernice was a longtime teacher with the West Islip School District. Bernice was a well loved member of the Baha'i faith. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons West Islip Funeral Home, 1225 Montauk Hwy. (1/4 mile west of the Robert Moses Cswy.). Visiting Wednesday, 3:00pm - 5:00pm - 7:00pm - 9:00pm, The Baha’i service will take place Wednesday, 8:00pm. Visiting Thursday, 8:30am until 9:00am. The family will take leave for the cemetery Thursday at 9:30am from the funeral home. Interment to follow at Genola Rural Cemetery, East Northport, NY at 10:30am.
