Birone - Frank, on July 25, 2023, of East Islip, LI. Beloved husband of Kathleen Phillips Birone. Devoted father of Claire (Patrick) Birone Donaldson and Joseph J. Birone. Cherished Papa of Grace Mary Donaldson and another loving granddaughter on the way. Frank will be greatly missed by the Phillips family and all his extended family and friends. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons East Islip Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street (1/2 mile west of the S.S. Parkway, Exit 45W). Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, East Islip, LI on Saturday at 10:15 AM. Private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers Frank’s family suggests donations be made in his loving memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105. Visiting Friday 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
