It’s always devastating to hear when someone in your family you have known your entire life passes on. I know my mom will be happy to see her brother and of course my grandfather will be happy to see his only son again. I really pray for you Aunt Luann because I know this is such an extremely devastating loss. I know grief is hell, and family is so important to have, so I’m always just a phone call away. Love you Aunt Luann. You Jen and Liz are always in my heart.
Rest in peace my uncle and Godfather.

I met Jeff late in life through Luanne and social media. There were meaningful connections in our lives - through faith, shared difficulties, commitments, I shared Luanne’s grief through the sudden loss of my partner of 50 yrs. These are the mysteries, the promises, the vagaries of “accidental meetings” And the blessings. The story of footsteps in the sand - the cry of the grieving soul - “I am forlorn- where is my strength.”. The answer is whispered thru the ebb and flo of life, “ I am carrying you, my child, rest , remember the shared hopes, dreams, - and heal. You are not forsaken.” Thank you, Jeff, for being one of the many seeds, the most important one that led to my meeting Luanne. Rest in peace.

I had the good fortune to meet Jeff as one of the first persons I met when we were going to Art Center College in Los Angeles, CA. That was the start of a friendship that continued throughout our lives. We purchased road bicycles to ride to and from campus and put hundreds of miles on them riding around the LA streets. Jeff was modelling even then and his work was beautiful. We traveled around southern California quite a bit and photographed all kinds of things. We lived near the KODAK film processing center and could drop off a roll of slide film in the evening and pick up the slides the following day. This was quite the deal in the days before digital photography. We were the Best Man at each others wedding. I have to say I was totally unprepared for what a New York wedding reception was like but the memories of that event still bring a smile to my face. I had a ball and was so happy to be there for the kickoff of Jeff and LuAnn's life together. Later years found us living in different parts of the country but we could start up a conversation as if no time had passed. I have a collection of all of his magazine articles published when he told me they were coming out. We spoke frequently about his cancer and prospects for recovery in his final months - conversations I value -- my favorite was his telling me about the Urn he selected for his ashes having the United Federation of Planets shield. We had a belly laugh about that and I was glad to see his sense of humor stayed with him. I'm blessed to have many memories of a life long friend. May he rest in peace...

My friendship with Jeff was brief, but it is so important to me. We enjoyed conversations, sitting outside, Italian ices, and our model that we worked on together. I will finish it, I promise. Rest well, Jeff. It is an honor to be your friend.

What can I say of my friend. He was a rare find in a friend, a person who inspires and is inspired by mutual friendship. He helped me more often then I helped him but I figured he was much a more experienced modeler then I am. We saw a lot of thing the same. I wish he had moved closer to where I live like mentioned in time past, we could have hung out more often beyond the 2 or 3 modeling events every year. There is a lesson here. When you meet people like Jeff Pollizzotto take every opportunity to be with them as often as possible. ERIC

To the family of a very special man. Jeff provided faith, love and joy to his family. He was very talented in so many ways and helpful to my family when home repairs were needed and we were unable to do them in our younger days. Jeff did not want anyone to suffer particularly Luann his wife as he needed more and more care. His family did all they could for him until they could no longer do it and had to rely on others, who thankfully were there and ready to assist when needed particularly all those who sent prayers, brought food and gifts to their home, as well as the wonderful nurses and staff at the hospice center where he finally closed his eyes and released his pain. Family is all about helping one another and I am glad I could be there to help my brother-in-law, sister and his girls get through these last few weeks. Rest in peace Jeff, until we see each other again.
