My, sincerest condolences to his family, all who knew Otsie. While we really never “hung” out he and I met several times, bowling especially in Port Jefferson. We had over the years spoke and reminisced about the old times of the farm and at his, great family reunion. My have fond memories of his happy demeanor and he brought it out when I ever saw him. Others have said it all.

My deepest condolencesto Otsies family friends and all who knew and loved him. Was fun times working and playing with Otsie. Always smiling always happy. I'll always remember the Christmas Eve my jeep broke down freezing Temps. You left me a truck with no heat with a smile on your face. So many stories and memories God bless you till we meet again. Otsie will be missed by all who new him. I want to wish all his family my sincere condolence. I worked with Otsie and played ball with him for many years. His dad and my dad were great friends their whole life, the first time I met Otsie was when my dad brought me to one of his fastpitch softball games when I was about 10 years old, then when I started working for the Bay Shore PO we started play ball together. I shared many memories with him which I will always cherish. Iam sorry I could attend the srevice for Otsie, my thought and prays are with him today. I hope you get to meet up with Popa Joe and start a game in heaven. May Otsie he rest in peace.

I , like everyone, was blessed Knowing Otise . Working with him in the Post office made the days and years more enjoyable with his Outrageous sense of humor and and infectious pleasant upbeat air about him . He taught you how not to be overly serious about a job or situation.He would take everyone one in no matter who you were. i had the extra blessing of my cousin working side by side years before me which made Otsie make me ( and others ) feel like family . You May be missed but there is now way you will ever be forgotten. the world would be a better place if we all would be just an iota of what Otsie was.

I had the pleasure of working with Otsie for quite a number of years.....I will remember him fondly. He was always ready with a cheerful "hi" and a story to share or some helpful assistance. He sure loved his family....his office wall had photos galore. He was a good guy.....so sorry for your loss......
