Devoted father of Thomas (Bonnie) Hanley, James Hanley, Patricia (Keith) Cooney, John (Patricia Mary) Hanley, Edward (Maureen) Hanley, and Patrick (Gabriella) Hanley. Cherished grandfather of Christine, Michelle (Chris), James, Bernadette, Kathleen, Alexis, Patrick, Daniel, Brian (Dana), Bridget, Kayla, Patricia, John, Aileen, Shannon, and Thomas. Treasured great grandfather of Cayson and Makennah. Dear brother of the late Thomas Hanley. James was devoted to his community and was a proud member of FDNY Battalion 7, Emerald Society, Holy Name Society, Division 7 Ancient Order of Hibernians of East Islip and Knights of Columbus Council of Brentwood.
