Obituary
On January 21st, 2023, Eileen A. O’Hara lost her life in a tragic accident. She was 78 years old.
Eileen was a devoted mother of her six children, James, Christopher, Michael, Erin, Terrence and Patricia, loving grandmother to her nine grandchildren, James, Jessica, Camryn, Reagan, Sydney, Amy, Meagan, Duke and CJ. Eileen loved children, which was a large part of why she chose to become a teacher aide to special needs children until she retired in 2020. Helping people, especially children, was her true joy in life. She spent her retirement enjoying her grandchildren and helping care for her youngest grandson, CJ.
Eileen is predeceased by her husband, James, whom she was married to for 41 years, until James passed in 2011.
While Eileen’s family grieves her loss, they are choosing to remember Eileen in a way that honors her spirit. Her family invites the community to join them for Eileen’s funeral mass at St. Joseph’s located in Babylon, NY on February 3rd at 10:30.

Dennis posted a condolence

There are no words to describe how sorry we were to hear about this tragic accident. Our sincerest condolences to my cousins, their spouses and to the grandchildren. Aunt Eileen was my second mother growing up and we have so many fond memories. Her door was always open to our family... some of our best times growing up was spending time with Aunt Eileen, Uncle Jimmy and all my cousins. While our hearts break I know Jesus welcomed her into Heaven along with her family and friends that have gone before her. There is a bible versus that applies to my sweet Aunt Eileen: 2 Timothy 4:7-8 "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day - and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing." God bless you all! Love Dennis, Terry, Erin, Denny and Valentina
