So sorry to hear about the loss of Patty, She was a good friend to me and then unfortunately we lost touch when I moved away. I have thought about her often over the years. Rest in Peace my friend.

Sending prayers and love to Trish's family and friends during this difficult time. Trish had a positive impact on all who knew her. I spent time going through photos and Trish was always smiling or acting up. Never a sad moment except maybe when we went to NYC to see Cats ;) I'm sorry I cannot be there in person to share the stories and pay my respects.

I am so sorry for the Dacunto family's loss, our loss, the world's loss. Even though we fell out of touch, I loved her dearly and will miss her forever. We had so many fun times at Kismet, the '96 Olympics, and many Music Midtowns in Atlanta. Not to mention West Hampton, the epic cruise and a bunch of ski trips. Here's a snapshot of many of us at Lisa's wedding in 1997 and one of her being goofy. Peace and love to all. I'm sorry I can't be there to cry and remember her with everyone she loved and who loved her.

Trish “Patty” and I met in our early twenties, when two groups of friends merged to become one. We quickly became bff’s, going everywhere together, always being roommates on vacations, etc. Trish was so outgoing and friendly. When we would leave somewhere, Trish would turn to me and say, “I know, I talk to everyone.” I’m going to miss her so much!. RIP my dear friend Patti-Trish.

I can’t imagine my life without Trish in it. She was our person, part of all of our memories from school until now. We are just heartbroken

Trish and I met in 7th grade when all the elementary schools came together in Junior High. By 8th grade, we were best friends. We were supposed to be The Golden Girls when we got into our 80's. My heart is broken. I am so happy you are no longer in pain. Now it is our turn to be in pain. I will miss you for the rest of my life Trish. You were the best of us.

Even though she was the little sister in her family, she was the big sister to most of the rest of our block. She was our ringleader, always coming up with some activity for all of us younger kids, whether teaching us how to make our own play-dough, organizing massive ringolevio games, or getting us all involved in putting on a haunted house. I haven't seen her in years but she will be greatly missed, as someone who was at the center of so many of my great Islip memories. Rest in peace.
