Hedgecock, Thomas A. of East Islip, formerly of Southold and Malverne N.Y. on October 17, 2022 at the age of 81. Devoted husband of Judith for more than 56 years. Loving father of Jennifer and Thomas Marino, Jill and John Romeo, and Matthew and Kristina Hedgecock. Cherished Grandpa, Papa and Great-Grandpa to Suzanne (Erik), Samantha (John), Lauren, Alexander, Brooke, Christian, Ava, Ruby, Avery, Theodore and Henry. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Marguerite and his brother Joseph. Survived by his dear brother William. Tom was a friend to many and was fiercely loyal to those he loved. Tom was a proud graduate of Fordham Prep, Iona College and CW Post. He taught math for for over 40 years, mainly at Lynbrook Public Schools. Tom loved nothing more than spending time fishing, watching the NY Giants (win) and spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed. “To all those who think of me Be happy as I go out to sea.
