I am sorry sorry for your loss. I knew Karen through cat rescue, and many times saw her at spay neuter clinics. She was a champion of cats with a huge, compassionate heart. She made a difference. It was a shock to learn that her time here on earth was over. I pray you find comfort in all the memories, in the knowing that she helped many people, and worked tirelessly to make the world a more compassionate place. May she Rest In Peace.

My sincere condolences to the family. Karen was a bright light in my life. She was always ready to lend a hand whenever needed. She could make me laugh when I wanted to cry. Her kindness and compassion for the furry little lives that she came across is unmatched. I will always remember her smile and her laughter and her concern for how I was doing. My heart is broken and there is now a giant hole that can never be filled in the rescue world. Karen, I know you were greeted by all the furry little faces that arrived before you and I know that you are now free from pain but covered with cat hair once again. I will always remember you with great fondness, my friend.

Life as with many friendships has taken us in different directions from the daily visits we made when you were on Callahan St. but you were never far from my heart.
