Beloved father of Richard of Tohatchi, NM, and of Charles and Susan and dear grandfather of Niles of Brunswick, ME. Brother of Edna Zolman of Plainville, KS. Brother-in-law of Joan of St. James, NY, and of Thomas Gallagher of Sprakers, NY. Uncle and cousin to the Gallagher, Sullivan, Simmons, Sadlier, and Yurack families. US Navy veteran of WWII. Former template and model maker at Grumman Aerospace, Bethpage, and foreman at Dayton T. Brown, Bohemia. Reposing at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons West Islip Funeral Home, 1225 Montauk Hwy. (1/4 mile west of the Robert Moses Cswy.). Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial Saturday 10:00 AM at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, Babylon, LI. Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Babylon, LI. Visiting Friday 2:00 PM until 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM until 9:30 PM.
