My condolences to the family! I just found out that Isabel passed away last year. I used to babysit for Donna and Michael and always thought Isabel was such a sweet and elegant woman. My family lived down the street and even though I moved away from Islip Terrace in 1973 I will always have fond memories of her. May she rest in peace.

Knowing Isabel for my entire life, I will always have such wonderful memories of her, however there is one that stands out in my mind. When I was a child Isabel took me to NYC to see Peter Pan on Broadway! It was the first time I had ever seen a Broadway show and I remember feeling mesmerized. That experience sparked a love for Theater in me that would last a lifetime. We also had dinner together and she made me feel really special. Sending our thoughts and prayers to the family. While I’m a year late hearing this sad news, it’s never too late to express my condolences. We lived across the street from Isabell. My children adored her as did my husband and me. While I’ve lived in S. Florida for over 45 years, I think often of fondly of the dear friends we had in Islip Terrace. God rest this beautiful soul. .
