Beloved husband, father, and friend Salvadore (Sam) A. Voor has passed away peacefully on June 11, 2022 at Mount Sinai West Hospital. Sam was a loving husband to his wife Susan and devoted father to his three children Samantha (Brian), Shane (Jaclyn) and Shay (Michael). Sam has touched the lives of many throughout his life as a wonderful son, brother, uncle, godfather, and friend. Sam was born on July 29, 1956 in Forrest Hills and raised in Elmont, NY. Throughout Sam’s life, he brought a sense of humor, light and joy to all that met him. Sam set his roots in West Islip with his wife Susan in 1984 and soon became a father to his three beautiful children. Sam was a strong, kind, and loving man who loved to make people laugh. Sam's family and friends will miss him dearly and know that life will not be the same without him, but are incredibly grateful for the time they’ve shared together. The family would like to give a special thank you to Sam's nurses and caregivers throughout his health struggles. Additionally, we would like to thank all of the family and friends who stopped by to share memories and prayers bringing joy into our home during this difficult time.
