Nanny was the most amazing, classy woman out there. She was so loving and caring to all of her 14 grand children (4 great grandchildren). She always made us feel so loved and safe. I will forever cherish those memories I have with her down in Palm Coast. Wether it was playing cards by the pool, sitting in the sauna discussing our outfits for dinner that night, or her buying every grand child there own personal favorite sack for the vacation. I can’t wait to carry the traditions you shared with us to my future nieces, nephews, children, and grandchildren. She loved us just as much as we loved her. We love you Nan.

There are not enough words to describe this wonderful woman, my wife, who gave me her total love and support over our 62 years of married life. I thank her for that and the wonderful family she helped create. She is its heart. I love her and I will miss her but I am sure she is enjoying her Heavenly reward.

So sorry to learn of Dorothy’s passing. I called your home today to say hi after learning about Bob’s death last Dec. I was just looking at photos of you, Dorothy and my father when you would visit him in Rockaway. He loved seeing you and his niece. May her memory be a blessing to you and all your children and grandchildren. She will be missed. Our prayers are with you.

Our Aunt Dor was a beautiful woman inside and out. I will forever cherish the wonderful memories that span many years including her tender ways of caring for her nieces and nephews as her own. I will also always remember her as a loving sister and confidant to my mom and as a proud mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Aunt Dor had a twinkle in her eyes and an adorable wrinkle in her nose when she smiled, which was often. She will be forever missed and loved, Tina and Mike Finn
