Our deepest condolences to Cousin Al's family and friends. It's sad that distance kept us from seeing many of our family members a lot, but we'll never forgot the good times we did share together. May he rest in peace, and may God bring comfort to all who loved him.

Al came into my life when I was 9 years old, he gave me so much fatherly love that I was missing in my life! He always introduced me as his daughter and I always felt like I was. He loved my mother always through sickness and health. I am eternally grateful to him for loving my mom and taking care of her for the 7 years she was sick. I don’t know many men who would do what he did for her.
Love is something he did with his whole heart, he was an incredible dad, but a grandpa, he was THE BEST! I’ve never seen a man love his grandchildren like he did! How lucky they were to have you in their lives!
I could go on and on about him, I miss you so much and wish I could have spent more time with you before you got sick. Seeing you that last week was heart breaking, but knowing you wanted and received last rites and was wearing the scapular when you died is my biggest consolation.
I love you and thank you for being my Dad
Eternal rest grant unto him oh Lord
And may perpetual light shine upon him,
May he Rest In Peace,
May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed Rest In Peace. Amen

They said it all in his obituary when they said, "you never knew someone so loved by everyone, unless you knew Al Lorefice" My Uncle Albie as I called him was more than an uncle to me and my brother and sisters. He was always there when you needed him because our father wasn't. He took such special and wonderful care of his wife Carol when she was ill and needed more than love, he showed us all that he was beyond just a husband he truly was a superhuman. He loved her with all his heart and all seven of his children. When my sister Pat wasn't going to make it through the night, he was there with us and helped with her rehab, to become the best she can be now, whenever anyone needed him, he was there, and I will never forget the man he was. I will miss him just as much as I miss my mom. He will forever live in my heart, sorry you had to suffer in the end. wish I had been there for you like you were here for us. Love you my uncle forever and beyond. RIP my uncle my special dad .
