Obituary

Surrounded by his family, Anthony D’Angelo passed away on January 27th, 2022, at the age of 68. Anthony is survived by his mother, Florence; his wife, Elaine; his daughter Maria, son-in-law Keith, son JJ, daughter-in-law, Desiree; and his siblings Rosalie,Jeannette and Victor. He was a proud Papa to his grandson Miles, who he had a special love for, and beloved cousin and uncle to his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph. Anthony proudly represented GraniteWorks, Inc. He was well-known and highly respected in the field of Heavy Highway Construction and Stone Restoration; a few of his distinguished projects included the Brooklyn Bridge, Queensboro Bridge and Williamsburg Bridge. He was the anchor to his family and friends. One of his many hobbies included astronomy and building telescopes to watch the sky. His famous clam chowder was always a requested favorite at family parties. Anthony was truly one of a kind and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. “Fly me to the moon, let me play among the stars” - Sinatra
