Lou was a great friend of mine for many years. We had a lot of laughs over the years
and even though i never met his beautiful
family i understand just how wonderful
and beautiful human being Lou was and my heart hurts as all of you I know how much
you've gone through with his ongoing illness
but i always thought he would bounce back
as always but God needed him this time.

Louis was close to his family, family always came first,
Lou worked hard, but also enjoyed life, he loved to fish, and hunt. I know he had lots of stories about hunting .
There are many wonderful aspects to Lou’s life, and the many ways that he touched our lives. He will be remembered as a husband, father, grandfather, brother (Tom, Flo,and Phil) uncle, cousin, great friend and out doorsman.
Now that he passed away, of course there is emptiness and pain. But in many ways the gift of Lou’s life is still with us.
He will live on in our memories and stories. So today, tomorrow we will share our memories of good thoughts and good times.
May Jesus take him by the hand to a place of light, refreshment and no pain
We will miss you Lou
Love you Tom and patty

My fondest memory of Uncle Louis exemplifies his deep love for his sister. While my mom was in the hospital Uncle Louis visited her every single day, rain or shine. When they moved her to a hospital in Nassau County late one night, he was still the first one there in the morning. He didn’t let the distance deter him. This touched my heart deeply. I remember telling him how much it meant to my mom and I. He did not want any recognition; he just wanted his sister to get better. This memory highlights who Uncle Louis was: a true family man. He was dedicated to his family (and especially his wife) and loved them dearly. We will all truly miss you. May you gently rest in God’s arms and may the Lord bless you and keep you in his care.
