Higgins – John Joseph, of Levittown, NY, on December 22, 2021 at the age of 76. Loving father of John (Jennifer) and Julie (Marco). Doting grandfather of Charlotte, Nathaniel, and Fiona. Proud uncle of Joanne, Donna, Laurie, Warren, and Charlie. A native of Washington Heights, he raised his family in Farmingdale while having a long career with the Manhattan and Bronx Surface Transit Operating Authority, making many friends along the way. He will be greatly missed. A private viewing was held for the family on December 28th. A lifetime animal lover, donations can be made in his name to the ASPCA.
