John was born at Saint Francis Hospital in The Bronx New York, on September 20th, 1950, 1 of 11 children to the late Mary and Peter Morris. John, known to many as Johnny, was the beloved husband and soulmate to Adelina Morris. John and Adi married February 10, 1972 and together welcomed two children, John and Jennifer. He is survived by his 2 children John Morris, Jennifer Morris- Muniz, his daughter-in-law Colleen Morris and grandchildren Sean, Allison, Brandon, Gavin and Mason. John was drafted into the United States Army at 18 and stationed in Korea, where he proudly served his country. Years later, he worked as a driver for the heating supplier Skaggs and Walsh in a career that would last nearly 30 years. John enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren who were the loves of his life. He enjoyed sharing his sports knowledge with his grandkids and his love of old movies like the West Side Story and March of the Wooden Soldiers. John, will be remembered as a sports fanatic who enjoyed watching the NY Mets and NY Giants. He was an inspirational and religious man always striving to be the best version of himself and encouraging others to do the same. You could always find him on Saturday at 4pm mass at St. James Parish. He enjoyed taking on home projects and could fix anything, he generously gave his time and talents to anyone in need.
