We are so thankful to have had Derry in our lives. She brought so much happiness and laughter to our families. We are forever grateful for the times we have spent together. Ben and I were lucky enough to spend the holiday season last year with Derry and she filled our day with laughter and smiles. I also wanted to mention the impact you had on my sister Alley. The kindness and love you have showed her since you guys first met is unmatched. You are forever in our hearts.
Love,
Brooke & Ben

What can I say about my Aunt Derry. She was an amazing woman. I’ll always remember the Christmases we spent together. And also when you got together with my mom having a glass of wine or vermouth and laughing. When you both laughed it was infectious. You always love being around your family. Your smile lit up the room. Now you’re with your family watching over all of us. We have another angel. Say hello to mom, dad, auntie Theresa, and auntie Mary. I love you and I’ll miss you.

Nana Derry and I always had the best times together. From many dinners at Cody’s, to all the trips we took to John’s Pass, countless amounts of card games where you would always win, helping you install things around your condo, 4th of July at the stadium, all of our conversations about your childhood, and many many more great times we had together. Thank you so much for all the amazing memories. I love you and I miss you so much. I know you will always be with me. Until we meet again. With love always, your grandson Vincent

Too many amazing memories to put just one. The countless dinner outings at Johns Pass, staying up until midnight in your home where we told stories, looked at pictures, and made brownies, the trip to the dentist, which was followed by one of your favorite breakfasts at First Watch, Easter in North Port, which we paired with a paint night from home, Fourth of July at the stadium, Christmas in my home, playing UNO (you won on your very first time!) and many many more. One thing I know is that you lit up the room and always made everyone smile. I’m so glad that I was fortunate enough to have a third grandma in my life and If I could be half the person that you were, then I’d be the luckiest person ever. You are so loved and we will keep you in our hearts forever. I love you Derry Queen.
