Sabina (Bobby) Schiano, age 94 passed away peacefully at home on Friday August 6th with her devoted family by her side. Born in NY on February 23, 1927 she was a daughter to the late Antoinette and Michael Apolaro. She was a loving and devoted wife to the late Alfred Schiano, mother, sister and Aunt. She was well known for her cooking especially her hot peppers and she loved feeding all those around her. She loved the sun, spending time in Florida and shopping, but her greatest enjoyment was found in the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her. Survivors include her loving children Frank and his wife Patricia, Michael and his wife Marcie, Mary and her husband Edward. Her cherished grandchildren, Alex Schiano, Paul Schiano, Ali Kudej, Alfred (A.J.) Schiano and Kristy Kudej along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday August 12 from 4-8 at Chapey Funeral Home, 20 Hicksville Road, Bethpage, NY. A mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday August 13th at St. Martin of Tours R.C. Church, Central Avenue, Bethpage, NY. Entombment to follow at Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, NY.
