Richard was someone we loved running into in town because he always had a big smile on his face & something upbeat to say and we'd leave our chance meeting feeling good about him & about ourselves & about life in general. We will always remember Richard. His earthly light went out far too soon. May he Rest in Peace.
Our condolences to the Ryan Family.
With love, Kenny & Nina (Haberek) Tooker

Though I had seen Richard pass the collection basket many times for the 7:00 A.M. Sunday Mass at St. Patrick’s Church I didn’t get to know him personally until later on when we attended the same Ignatius retreat in the Parish house. And then later I discovered that he lived on South Saxon just down the street from me and he would often stop when driving by as I was walking my dog and offer him a doggie treat. It was always nice to have a brief chat with such a kind and caring individual as Richard. It was such a shock to hear he had been called home so early. This world will seem less not to have him here. May he Rest In Peace in the arms of our Lord and Savior.
