Joe was one of a kind VERY RARE type of person who was extremely kind, patient, compassionate, giving, altruistic and benevolent and was INCREDIBLY SELFLESS all the time. He was a TRUE "GIVER" in the true sense of the word, and kindness and compassion defined his personality to his core. I knew Joe as a friend but unfortunately never spent much time with him other than when I would see him or speak with him regarding my taxes, and for that, I am truly sad that I didn't get to have more personal time and experiences with him throughout his short life. But having both Joe and Maria at my wedding back in May 2002, was a great time for me and Christine and I know for Maria and Joe and especially for my friend Jerry!! But in the 25 years that I knew Joe, I truly ADMIRED and RESPECTED him tremendously and he is someone who I sought to be more like in my own life and relationships with others. But I could never be the kind of person that Joe was to everyone unfortunately. I know that his death came very unexpectedly and suddenly but I hope and pray that his memory and the essence of his life, will live on throughout your entire family for the rest of your lives. May he rest in peace with God in Heaven as I know that he is there now looking down on your entire family and hopefully he will be there to greet you all in Heaven when your times eventually come.

I am still so sad to hear that Joe passed. I will truly miss working with him - he was always so helpful, kind, patient and always had a way to make the hard problems seem so small. Family was so important to Joe so please accept my sincere condolences to you his family. I think anyone that knew Joe always knew he was a rare breed full of humor, kindness and genuine care for others. Rest in peace Joe, you will always be a cherished memory and dearly missed. He was a friend and mentor, and I will miss him dearly. Joe valued people and relationships above all. I worked at Natures Bounty with Joe. Also I play in the band Second Chance and Joe came with family (wife) to see us several times. I was so saddened to hear this news. Joe was such a wonderful person and will be greatly missed. My condolences to his entire family. Sincerely, Glenn
