Obituary of Florence O'Gara

O'GARA-Florence nee Rosenberg died peacefully November 5th, 2016. Widowed wife to Martin J. O'Gara, formerly of West Babylon, she passed her last years in West Islip, with her elder son Scott and his wife, Susan. Beloved mother of Laurie Ann and Michael David, she was Grandmother to Cara, Heather, Jordan and Aran. A veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II, she was a devoted den mother to Cub Scouts, sponsor of Little League Baseball and supporter of The West Babylon Public Library. Arrangements entrusted to the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons West Islip Funeral Home. Interment Monday 2:00 PM at the Patchogue Hebrew Cemetery, 210 Buckley Road, Holtsville, NY 11742.
