It’s never easy saying goodbye.
To know Tom was to love Tom.
I have known Tom before I even worked at Korg USA. Tom was friends with my grandfather Milton and hired my sister Gail in 1986 so right there I knew he had the patience of a Saint.
Tom was one of the kindest, helpful and humorous person I have ever known. In the 28 plus years I have been at Korg I never seen him in a bad mood even when us ladies in accounting would turn on our space heaters on at the same time and blow a fuse or when he noticed we were daisy chaining.
You could go to Tom ask for advice on how to fix something and instead of telling you he would insist on helping you or doing it all himself. He also was great in giving you life advice.
You could count on Tom for a laugh he always had a funny story and was a great storyteller.
We all knew the pride he took in decorating the inside and outside of his house for Christmas. It didn’t stop there he always made sure the Christmas tree & Menorah were well lit in the lobby of Korg USA. Tom spent many hours and days in his workshop and in 2020 as Elfie Imparato he made all of us at Korg USA & Spector USA a charcuterie board out of the wood that is used to make Spector Basses something we will all cherish.
Tom loved his family so much you can tell when he would speak about anyone his eyes would beam with pride but especially when speaking of Danielle (his daughter), Kenny, Gabriella & Johnny. Tommy (his son), Danielle, TJ, Anthony & Dominic.
Tom you left a lasting impression on everyone you met. We are all better people for knowing you.
Our hearts are broken yet we find comfort in the memories you left and knowing you are reunited with your true love Lu.
You will forever be in our hearts. We love you Tom until we meet again.
XOXO

Tom I still cannot believe you are gone. You were the guiding force of our family. You were everyone’s go to guy. If you needed advice, help with something or just to share a laugh. My heart is broken that I’ll never see or hear you again but I know you are with Lu. The family will never be the same without you! You will always be in my heart.
Love you Diane.

Hi,
I would like to send the condolences of all our team at Blackstar Amps in the UK. It is very sad to hear the passing of Tom.
Personally, I have known Tom for 25 years, since my days as a young engineer at Marshall Amps. Myself and Bruce who was Marshall's Technical Director spoke many times with Tom.
On my visits to Melville, I met with Tom often and found him to be an absolute gentleman and he was always very knowledgeable, kind and supportive of what we were doing with our new business.
We wish you all the best at this difficult time.
Ian and The Blackstar Team.

It's hard to believe that you are truly gone, Uncle Tom. At least once a week, I say to myself, "I have to ask Uncle Tom about this" because I know you always have the answer or you always have advice for me. You are the most brilliant, talented, caring, hilarious person I know. You're Super Tom.
I cherish every single memory I have with you and am grateful we spent so much time with you. Our hearts will always be broken from losing you and Aunt Lu far too soon. My only comfort is knowing that you are with her again. I have always looked up to you both and will continue to do so. I hope you don't mind if I still ask you for some guidance and advice...
Love always,
Sammi

My condolences to the Imparato family. Tom and I worked together for around 30 years. He was always there to help in any situation and ready to share his extensive electronics knowledge. I will always remember him with the greatest fondness and admiration.

I am deeply saddened and will miss you so much Tom! All the laughs and good times at work!! You were my first friend at KORG USA and I will never forget what an awesome boss you were! I will miss hearing stories about your wonderful family, I will miss going to see your Christmas lights display, miss hearing you tell me about updates on your model train display and just miss going back to your office to chat with you. You were an amazing person and I am honored to have known you for 35 years.
I know you are at peace right now with your love Lu.

Tom, you are more than just a brother to me -- you are my best friend, my role model, my hero.
Every time I look around my house, I see you. We spent so many wonderful weekends together -- shopping, laughing, working on the house. One of my favorite memories was when I was helping you move your bathtub into the house. I don't think I've ever laughed so much. You are my hero, a true role model for me growing up and for my daughters. I can never thank you enough for the impact you've had on my life, my wife's life, and my daughters' lives. I will miss you forever, but I am comforted knowing you are back with the love of your life, Lu. You were both so important to me and the family. Say hi to Daddy and Mommy for us and please watch over us.

So lucky to have you as my godfather, role model, superhero, and uncle. I doubt many people get to meet someone as great as you in their lifetime.
Uncle Tom is the most brilliant, talented, creative, funny, caring person I've ever been fortunate enough to know and love. Thank you for making so many childhood/adult memories with me!
My sister and I are blessed with so many great memories of you and Aunt Lu visiting us in NJ. They are some of my favorite childhood moments. Fixing things around the house, playing board games, providing homework and science project help, and gathering around the table laughing were some of our favorite times. I will always cherish the times we spent with you and Aunt Lu. Love you always!
