Rosalia DiGiorgi, age 82, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 4th, 2021. She was surrounded by her loving family. Rosalia was a devoted wife to Francesco DiGiorgi for 57 years. She is survived by her two children— Grace DiGiorgi and her fiancé Angelo Torres of Islip Terrace, NY and Josephine DiGiorgi of Hicksville, NY. Rosalia was a loving grandmother to Roberto Agrusa and his wife Dania, Vito Licata, Thalia Stocum, Isabella Licata, and Matthew Morman. Rosalia came to the U.S. in 1963 to have a family and a better life as she worked for many years in the garment industry. She was an amazing cook and hosted every holiday for her family. She was also an amazing mother and put her kids and family first. Rosalia was a devoted, caring wife, mother and grandmother and she will be missed dearly by all those who loved her.
