Very sad to hear of Jim's passing. He was a true gentleman, always had the answers. A pleasure to work with or just talk to over many years. May he rest in God's hands for all eternity. Condolences to family.

I knew Jim for many many years at Con Edison. He was always a pleasure to work with, and so incredibly dedicated. I worked with him in many different jobs I had, and valued both his help and friendship. I will miss Jim, and give my heartfelt condolences to his family on this painful loss. My prayers are with you all.

Besides being a great man Jim Connolly was a mentor, a teacher, and like my second Father. He was the one in the room with the level head when the ship was sinking and all else had failed. And in-spite of this he always managed to pull the rabbit out of the hat. Men like Jim are far and few between. Jim’s favorite quote from the Bible “and this too shall pass” got me through the worst of times. God bless you Jim and thank you for all you have given me.-John Frassanito

I would like to express my sincere condolences to my old friend and colleague's family.
I met Jimmy in the early seventies at our place of employment, Con Edison's Central Construction. And in later years, I was privileged to have Jimmy assigned
to my section for a few years. He had an excellent working knowledge of the electrical construction procurement processes and had an intimate knowledge of the Electrical Construction Bureau's & Electrical Engineering personnel. His talent and expertise certainly made many undertakings successful, especially when we encountered dire system emergencies.
I just wish to say Jimmy was always a true team player adding value to all those he interacted with. I am privileged to have known him.
I will keep him and his family in my prayers.

Mr. Connolly was truly my Superman growing up. There was no task too small or too large for him to handle. He took care of all of Susan's and Eddie's friends as if we were one of his own. I will miss him forever, but I am comforted that he rests in eternal peace. He has his reward for a life well lived. Xoxoxo
